When you purchase the Hidemium Local package and need to back up your data while reinstalling your system or transferring to another computer, please follow the instructions below. You will need to copy the following folders:

1: The “data” folder stores the configuration settings and essential data of the profile.

Default path: /Users/{your-username}/.hidemium_4

Replace {your-username} with your actual Mac username.

2: This folder contains profile data that is not synced to the cloud.

You need to open the App Settings to check the location of this folder. Some users may have updated or changed the folder path, so to be sure, please verify the exact path in the App Settings and then copy that folder.

3. When backing up a local profile, make sure to include the entire LocalData folder:

• If using a version below 4.1.0, the folder will be saved at: /Users/{your-username}/Library/Application Support/Hidemium_4

Replace {your-username} with your actual Mac username.
