Lesson 15: Customizing the App: A Newbie’s Guide to App Settings

In this lesson, we’ll explore how to configure the basic settings in the app through the “Settings” section. This is an important part that allows you to customize the app according to your personal preferences. I’ll guide you step-by-step in a simple and intuitive way. Let’s get started!

1.  App Settings

• Automation Running: Automatically runs campaigns upon launching the app. To disable this feature, you can manually turn it off.
• Clear Cache: When you close a profile, its folder remains on your machine, which can take up a lot of space. To free up storage, enable the “Clear Cache” option to automatically delete unnecessary files.
• Profile Temp Path: This is the directory where Hidemium profiles are stored. If you want to change the storage location, simply select a new folder.
• Default Host Check Proxy: Enabling this will apply the same proxy to all current and future profiles.
• After configuring all the settings, click Save to store the changes.

2. Default Config

This feature helps you quickly create profiles. There are two ways to use it:

• Method 1: Go to Profiles, select Quick Create, then choose Manage Default Config.
• Method 2: Select Default Config in the Settings section for custom adjustments.

3. Team Member Management

This feature supports efficient team collaboration.

• How to add a team member:
  • Email: Must be an email not previously registered with Hidemium.
  • Password: Set a personal password for the member.
  • Folder: Select the folder(s) that this member will use (no folder limit).
  • Status: Choose from options like All, No Status, Ban, Ready, or New.
  • Permissions:
    • Create: Allows the member to create new profiles.
    • Remove: Allows the member to delete files. You can disable this to prevent file deletion.
    • Edit: Grants the member permission to edit profiles.

4. Device Manager

Manage the devices currently logged into your Hidemium account. If you spot an unfamiliar device, you can choose to Log Out or activate Local Login to control access.

5. Overview

Displays your account details. Here, you can change your password and set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security.

6. Payment History

Logs all your payment transactions. When Automatic Renewal is enabled, Hidemium will automatically renew your subscription and apply the latest features of the next package.

7. Balance History

Displays the history of your account’s top-up activities.

These settings will help you optimize your workflow and secure your data while using Hidemium.
